Two Jefferson HS Seniors Spread Oral Health Info to LAUSD Grade Schoolers

As part of their being awarded $1,000 scholarships from the National Children’s Oral Health Foundation and the National Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, two Jefferson High School seniors (and, ahem, L.A. Trust Advisory Board members), Mayra Velasquez and Elizabeth Dominguez, presented to 10 LAUSD elementary school classrooms on proper brushing and flossing techniques, teeth friendly foods, and the importance of oral health care and oral hygiene!
